Arteries of the heart

like other Organs and muscles, muscles of heart also need blood and oxygen to survive. the arteries that supplies blood to the heart muscles are called as coronary arteries. these are of two types. Right coronary artery and left coronary artery.

Right Coronary Artery:

In the Diagram, artery labelled with number 2 is right coronary artery. Right coronary artery supplies blood and oxygen to the right side of the heart.
The right side of the heart is smaller and pumps blood to the lungs only.
Right Coronary artery also give rise to the Marginal branch.
